The DVO is excited to present its first Nancy Cassals Christmas chamber music concert! Nancy Cassals has been a pillar of the music community in Dundas for many years, and the DVO is pleased to be continuing the tradition she began in Dundas many years ago. Forty years ago, Nancy organised a popular chamber music concert at Christmastime and continued to do so every year since. With her retirement from this wonderful tradition, the DVO is continuing this yearly concert in her name as a tribute to such a wonderful musician and supporter of music in Dundas. Thank you, Nancy!
These yearly concerts, separate from the DVO regular orchestral season, showcase small groups of the musicians of the orchestra such as string quartets, trios, and groups like the Celtic and brass ensembles. Don’t miss this exciting new holiday tradition of the Dundas Valley Orchestra!
